Set to revolutionise the global hotel industry and make travel
more enjoyable, YOTEL, the innovative new hotel concept,
recently opened the doors at its first location, Gatwick Airport.
This opening forms the inaugural step in an aggressive expansion
plan for the brand and is the first of many YOTELs that IFA
Hotels & Resorts aims to open around the globe.
Created by Yo! founder Simon Woodroffe, this innovative
product is based along the lines of a first class airline cabin or
luxury yacht. The YOTEL two-tier cabin system has been
formed with all the facilities and space you would expect from
a traditional hotel, at an affordable price. En-suite cabins (or
rooms) come as either ‘Premium’ (with a full size double bed)
or ‘Standard’ (with a large single bed) – both large enough for
working, relaxing, sleeping, refreshment or entertainment, and
all just two minutes’ walk from the terminals of Gatwick.
Globally, several locations have already been identified as
prime opportunities for YOTEL including Dubai, the Netherlands,
Singapore, Thailand, Germany, New York, Russia, India,
South Africa and more, with a second UK site set for opening at
Heathrow Airport later this year.
Yotel offers customers a luxury hotel product at affordable
costs. Both the Heathrow and Gatwick Airport locations will be
bookable in blocks of four hours enabling delayed and transfer
passengers to relax privately in a hotel environment. In addition,
passengers leaving on those early morning flights can
stay the night before to enjoy a few extra hours of sleep in the
morning and check-in online from the comfort of their rooms,
safe in the knowledge that they are just a casual stroll from
their departure point. |
