Visit by His Majesty King Goodwill Zwelethini

His Majesty King Goodwill Zwelethini, together with his royal household entourage and official HOD Dr Mbanjwa from the KwaZulu-Natal Government, visited Dubai as guests of IFA Hotels & Resorts and African Access International. They were shown the various IFA Hotels & Resorts projects and introduced to The Palm Jumeirah and The World with joint venture partners Nakheel.

Bob Geldof Charity lunch

IFA Yacht Ownership Club kindly provided the prize of a day cruise on the IFA Dubai yacht for a charity auction hosted by Sir Bob Geldof to raise money for the Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre.

The auction of the cruise raised AED100,000 for the Centre. Piaras Moriarty said: “It was fantastic to use the IFA Dubai Yacht as a vehicle to raise money for such a good cause.We believe in supporting causes that contribute to the community in which we live and do business.”

Friday, the 10th February was a bleak day for Osama Kiwan. He was in wrong place at the wrong time and met with a most unfortunate accident. Thankfully, Osama is now well on the road to recovery, has set aside his crutches and almost running around the office again!

One positive outcome of this unfortunate event is the way in which all his colleagues rallied to support him and wish him well.We would particularly like to extend our gratitude to four of our staff members for coming to Osama’s aid on that fateful Friday morning: Latif, Loubna, Mirna and Khalid who dropped what they were doing on their day off to provide assistance and help in whichever way they could.

Thank you all for your help and support! And to Osama, we wish you a full and speedy recovery.
